Corning Publishing is seeking to hire a Business Manager who will serve in a pivotal role on the axis of accounting, sales, and manufacturing. We offer a respectful work environment where strong character attributes, professional development, ethics, and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities for Business Manager
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements

  • Accurately determine reasonability of job costs

  • Compile and analyze shop-floor data collection records

  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost

  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met

  • Manage CPC’s workflow dashboard ensuring the accuracy of its data

  • Develop outsource vendor-partner relationships

  • Master the company’s Microsoft Great Plains bookkeeping and accounting system

  • Report as directed to the Vice President of Finance

  • Engage with clients and report as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing

  • Communicate costs to sales and accounting

  • Create and manage budgets

 
Qualifications for Business Manager
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration

  • 3-years work or internship experience

  • Firm grasp of sound management principles

  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports

  • Exceptional organizational, diplomatic, and analytical skills

  • Strong propensity for personal development
